Tana came to Fresh Salon seven years ago. She is a highly sought after colorist, who aspires to achieve perfection in the chair. She is known for her southern charm and the ability to put a smile on everyone’s face, whether that is through a great color transformation or a genuine conversation and connection. If you want to get her attention, ask about her favorite 90s band, her animals, Myla and Scarlett, or why Thomas Jefferson makes her laugh. 

Emily‘s self proclaimed job title is: “The One Who Likes to Blow Dry”. Not only is Emily amazing as a stylist, but she really enjoys the chance to take thick, unruly hair and turn it into sleek, shiny, soft locks. Clearly, being meticulous has a place in the salon. Funniest part about Emily, she really enjoys outdated dramatic love songs. Make her laugh by bringing up your favorite.

While being one of the newest members of the Fresh Salon crew, Jazmin has an amazing work ethic and enthusiasm to provide great service that exudes from her daily. She is upbeat playful and excited about working with her clients. Her inspiration stems from her family and the desire to make people glow when they leave her chair. You can find her jamming to Reggaetón, writing and laughing with clients and the Fresh crew.

While her life motto is “It is what it is” you will not see that expressed in her cutting and styling techniques. She is a team player, efficient and kind.  She genuinely wants those in her chair to feel confident, fresh and excited to take their hair for a walk around the block, because it feels beautiful and right. She loves talking about her family and spends most of her time away from Fresh hanging out with them. With that encompassing passion for perfection and kindness you will be in very capable hands with Makayla. We are so excited she has started her styling journey under our wings!

Christina is one of our favorite colorists at Fresh Salon.  She is the mother of one year old identical twins girls, which means she knows how to handle any multitasking situation.  Therefore, you know your color will shine under her eye.  She is great at listening to your needs and translates that into a gorgeous reality.  Her goal is to make sure you are happy and feel beautiful stepping out of her chair.  After work, she calms herself with classical music, thoughts of caring for her family and her multiple plants in her house. 

As a veteran on the Fresh Salon crew, Tia has been working with in the industry for 19 years, with 11 of those at Fresh. A stylist extraordinaire, she prides herself on teaching newcomers to the Fresh team. She is always someone to turn to for advice, whether you are in her capable hands getting an amazing razor cut or chatting about life, she is always happy to be a listening ear with a light-hearted sense of humor. Tia’s family at Fresh and at home really make her humble and you can tell with the haircuts she gives. They can be transformative, if you want to, or be a barometer of continuity, if you prefer subtle changes. Also, she is a whiz with curly hair!

If you love a talkative colorist, Jen is your girl. She refers to herself as over-the-top and committed to her craft. She’s not scared of any challenge thrown her way at work. She is meticulous and this shows not only in the final product, but also in the way she explains what she envisions for your hair. The understanding of correct measurements and creativity, translates to her kitchen, as she is also an incredible baker.

Cris has been a quiet enigma at Fresh Salon for seven years. As an artist, she is covered in tattoos that she designed herself. This artistry is reflective in her work as a stylist. The attention to detail that comes from her cuts are subtle yet precise. The humble vibe that she exudes really puts into focus what her clients want out of their haircuts. Once you get to know Cris, her quiet demeanor sheds and you will find yourself laughing at her funny, thoughtful musings. Also, she has a way with men’s, modern shags and fringe.

Jose is one of the OG colorists at Fresh.  He has been at Fresh for 11 years.  Jose may not believe the saying, blondes or redheads have more fun, but he loves creating these hues for his clients.  He strives to maintain a relaxing space in his chair and can tell whether the client enjoys chatting or quiet time.  If Jose wasn’t such a great colorist, he would own a food truck since he loves cooking and baking.  Thankfully, he is happy doing what he loves.

Carsen is our favorite cat loving punk rocker! Carsen’s personality is exuberant and their eclectic tastes are found not only in their conversations but also in their interest in fashion coloring. If you are looking for a change, Carsen is your colorist. The excitement and enthusiasm they bring to Fresh is showcased in the chair and in the finished product. Carsen is constantly expanding their technique and we think they will become one of our long standing stylists at Fresh.

Kristen joined the Fresh team four years ago and her style is pervasive in the space.  Whether it’s through her innovative haircuts or her lively personality, when Kristen is at Fresh she gives it her all.  Outside of her professional accolades including, winning the Aveda Edwin Neil Full Potential Competition in 2011, she is dedicated to her clients and their haircut experience.  While her haircuts are not DIY, while crafting at home, she's great at producing something out of nothing.  She wants to create a haircut that will leave the client feeling brand new.
